14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
AppGild offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If an app doesn't meet the expectations set by its listing, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date. You don't need to justify the decision, but we may ask for basic information (account email, app name, reason in a sentence or two) so we can improve the marketplace and flag listings that don't match their description.
How to Request a Refund
Sign in and visit your Purchases page. Each eligible purchase has a Refund button next to it. Confirming the request submits the refund through Stripe to your original payment method; funds typically settle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
If you can’t access your account or the Refund button doesn’t appear when you expect it to, email support@appgild.ai with your account email and the app name and we’ll handle it manually.
Subscription Apps
The 14-day guarantee applies to your first billing period. If you request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you will receive a full refund for that first period.
After the initial 14-day window, you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a billing cycle after the 14-day guarantee window has passed.
After 14 Days
Refund requests made after the 14-day window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at AppGild's sole discretion. We may issue a full or partial refund, a service credit, or decline the request depending on the circumstances.
App Removals
If an app is removed from the marketplace by AppGild for any reason (including policy violations), active subscribers will not be charged for any billing periods after the removal date. For the billing period in which the removal occurs, AppGild may, at its discretion, issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of that period. No refunds are issued for billing periods that were fully delivered before the removal.
Builder-Initiated Removals
When a builder voluntarily removes their app, active subscribers receive 30 days' notice before the listing is archived. During that window, you retain full access. After the removal date, no further charges are made. If you believe the removal resulted in a loss of prepaid access, contact support for a case-by-case review.
Non-Refundable Items
App resubmission fees ($2.99 per resubmission) paid by builders are non-refundable, except in cases where a technical error on AppGild's part prevented the resubmission from being processed.
For builders: payment processing fees on a refunded sale are not returned by the payment processor. Where a refunded sale settled to a builder's account in a currency other than USD (cross-border sales), that unreturned fee is borne by the builder, is drawn from the builder's balance, and can slightly reduce a later payout.
